Questions
What is the difference between a hands-on course and a live endoscopy course?
A hands-on course puts a scope in your hands on simulators, ex vivo tissue, or animal models, usually in small groups. A live endoscopy course shows expert procedures on patients by video link while faculty discuss them. Many meetings mix both. Rows tagged Hands-on say so on the organizer page.
Where can I learn ESD, EUS, or ERCP hands-on?
Use the procedure filter above. Dedicated hands-on centers in this list include the ASGE Institute for Training and Technology near Chicago, IRCAD and IHU in Strasbourg, the Erasmus School of Endoscopy in Rotterdam, and the PENTAX training center in Hamburg.
