We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Interventional Radiologist OR General/Interventional Gastroenterologist to join the growing team in beautiful Hilo, Hawaii. Key Responsibilities:
If Interventional Radiologist:
- Perform a broad range of image-guided procedures including vascular and non-vascular interventions.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to determine the most appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray as applicable).
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and patient care discussions.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
If General/Interventional GI:
- Perform general endoscopy procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and polypectomy.
- Opportunity to perform advanced/interventional GI procedures (e.g., ERCP, EUS) if trained and interested.
- Manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Collaborate with primary care and surgical teams for continuity of care.
- Participate in call rotation and GI consultations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiology with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
OR
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (with optional training in Interventional GI procedures). - Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Hawaii.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
