Gastroenterologist – Growing Health System | Pennsylvania

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join a growing health system in Pennsylvania. Located in a low-cost-of-living area with excellent schools, outdoor recreation, and a strong community, this position offers a balanced schedule, experienced colleagues, and competitive compensation in a stable and expanding practice.

Position Highlights

  • Location: Confidential – Pennsylvania
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
  • Call: 1:4 rotation
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not Available
  • Support Team: Fully staffed clinic with CRNP and nurses
  • Hospitalist Coverage: 24/7 support with a dedicated GI CRNP for inpatient care
  • Referral Base: Established primary care network providing consistent patient flow

Responsibilities

The gastroenterologist will perform general GI procedures, including but not limited to colonoscopy, endoscopy (upper and capsule), flex sigmoidoscopy, colorectal screening, and polyp removal. Responsibilities also include diagnosing and managing conditions such as Celiac Disease, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS, and Esophageal Reflux. This role offers a structured schedule with dedicated administrative time and the opportunity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.



Requirements

  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania physician license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Education: MD or DO required
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology
  • Experience: Open to new graduates and experienced physicians
