DescriptionThe Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologists interested in pursuing exemplary clinical care, research, and/or education in a leading academic multi-specialty practice. The division has a long history of innovation in clinical practice, research, education, and procedural arenas that have positively impacted many patients’ lives and led to ground-breaking discoveries. We also have a focus on career development of our faculty leading to development of world leaders in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The group consists of nearly 90 clinicians, physician-educators, and academicians with support from excellent nurses and Advanced Practice Providers. Investigators are supported by a multidisciplinary and robust clinical, translational, and basic research infrastructure. Physician and physician-scientists with a background of excellence and innovation in research, clinical care and/or education (including education research) are encouraged to apply. Candidates with an academic focus on conducting epidemiological studies, clinical trials, artificial intelligence (AI), or working with large datasets would be highly competitive. QualificationsCandidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Gastroenterology and be eligible for a Minnesota medical license.
