Position: Gastroenterologist

Location: Santa Barbara, CA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
Seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our team and provide exceptional care for patients with digestive and gastrointestinal disorders. This predominantly outpatient practice offers a balanced mix of endoscopy and office-based care, with a manageable patient load and collaborative team environment.

Position Highlights:

• Patient Load: 15-20 patients per day.
  
• Call Coverage: 1 week every nine weeks, covering one hospital.
  
• Practice Mix: 60% Endoscopy and 40% office-based.
  
• Endoscopy Skillset: Includes EGD, colonoscopy, esophageal manometry, Bravo, and capsule.
  

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat digestive and gastrointestinal diseases.
  
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including endoscopies and colonoscopies.
  
• Document patient histories and develop individualized treatment plans.
  
• Prescribe and administer medications or treatments.
  
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure quality care.
  

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology.
  
• Current California Physician License or ability to obtain one.
  
• Current DEA License.
  
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology residency program.
  
• ERCP skills are a plus but not required.
