Consultant Gastroenterologist (General)

General consultant GI post covering Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and mid Wales. The department has 13 consultant gastroenterologists and one consultant hepatologist across Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. Out-of-hours GI bleed on-call is part of the role (about 1 in 10). Upper GI / HPB MDT membership is expected.

• Location: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, with work across both acute sites (onsite)
• Schedule: 10 PA job plan (7.5 DCC / 2.5 SPA); weekend on-call includes Saturday and Sunday morning on-site input
• License: Full GMC with licence to practise; Specialist Register via CCT (within 6 months of interview) or CESR; MRCP or equivalent
